Misty Benham is a wedding and portrait photographer with more than 13 years of experience. She strives to fulfill the needs of her clients and her goal is to make people happy through her attention to detail with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
She offers expert photographic sevices in the studio or on location and is willing to travel when necessary to meet her client's needs. Misty has photographed weddings & portraits throughout Arizona and has traveled to Nevada and California to photograph clients.
Misty graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in photography in 2005. She was recognized by the faculty as the outstanding student photographer in the School of Communication during her senior year. Misty enjoyed her educational journey at the university and she was fortunate enough to study under the direction of some very gifted and talented photographers including Dr. Eugene Balzer and Peter Schwepker. Misty studied many branches of photography and she excelled in portraiture. She was educated and trained in film technology and over the last several years she has become quite adept in digital photography and editing.
Misty is the Vice President of Soroptimist International of Winslow (a non-profit orgarnization directed toward helping women & girls) and she participates in numerous community events and activities. Misty also works as a freelance photographer for the Winslow Chamber of Commerce and the Tribune News in Holbrook and she's a substitute teacher for the Winslow Unified School District. When she's not working, Misty enjoys traveling, painting, dining with friends, spending time with her family and landscape photography. She currently resides in Winslow with her husband, two children, two dogs, two ferrets, and a hamster.
